POSITION TITLE: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor, Marine Sciences

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Savannah State University, a unit of the University System of Georgia, located in Savannah, Georgia, seeks a tenure-track faculty member to teach courses, advise students, and develop research programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. degree
in a field related to marine sciences. Successful applicants must have the academic preparation to develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, with preference given to candidates who can link research, policy, socio-economics, and management of marine and coastal resources as well as establish interdisciplinary, externally-funded research programs.

SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience; excellent benefits.
