Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Alabama

Postdoctoral Researcher: Coastal Physical Oceanography

A postdoctoral position in Coastal Physical Oceanography is available at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Alabama. The successful applicant will join a research team consisting of physical, biological and fisheries oceanographers investigating physical-biological couplings in the northern Gulf of Mexico. The applicant should have a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography or a closely related field. Experience with moored instruments and time-series analysis is strongly desired. The initial appointment is for one year, and renewal is contingent upon annual performance reviews and availability of funds. Applicants should send electronically a letter of application, curriculum vitae with a list of publications, a brief (1-2 pages) statement of research interests, and a list of at least three references to Dr. Kyeong Park (kpark@disl.org).
