DIRECTIONS TO INSTITUTE OF MARINE SCIENCES
From Chapel Hill/RTP/Raleigh-Durham Airport
- Travel east on I-40
- Merge onto US-70 E via exit 306 towards Clayton, Smithfield and Goldsboro
- Use US-70 Bypass E around Smithfield, Goldsboro and Kinston
- Continue on US-70 E into Morehead City. IMS entrance is on the right, just past the first traffic light after the railroad tracks bisect the east and west bound lanes of US-70
From Points North and South
- Travel on I-95 N or S towards Smithfield or Selma, NC
- Take exit 97 onto US-70 E
- Continue on as above
